WM Exit Opps

Hi Monkeys—

I am a 2024 Summer intern at UBS in PWM. I am wondering what kind of opportunities open up for me after my internship/ FT gig, if I decide to move in a different path if I don’t like WM.

I am a Junior at a Non-Target in the NYC area, and am receiving my MBA from same non-target in a combined degree program with my UG finance degree.

I’m most interested in ER and AM long term career wise. How hard is it to move laterally within a bank like UBS to these divisions? Is it possible to make the jump from WM to one of these divisions in another bank? What kind of experience/ qualifications would best set me up for that transition in case I don’t like WM?
