I don't have a finance/IB summer internship and I am just finishing second year, is it over?

I am an aeo student and I have met all of my progression requirements which means I will be starting at the Richard Ivey school of Business in September. Couple questions for you guys:

  1. Is it too late to find some sort of unpaid internship/volunteer position in finance so I can at least have some experience under my belt?

  2. Is it over for me in regards of hoping to land a IB internship for summer 2025?

  3. Has anyone been in a similar situation and can share some helpful advice?

I would really appreciate any help or advice you could offer!
