Private Banking - Portfolio Manager tasks?

BB Private Bank groups can be split up into 3 distinct categories from what I understand.

Client Advisors, Trust Officers, Portfolio Managers. I'd like to understand more about the PM role.

What does it look like in terms of starting out as an Analyst and making your way up? Hierarchy? PMA, PM1, PM2 . . . ? How many accounts do you manage? Drafting IPS? Time spent with clients vs PCA's? Certification requirements? Expectations? Salary/Bonus structure?

I've googled it and haven't really found any detailed information about the day to day and what the career path entails.

Former or current PMs please chime in!

Thank You!
