Private banking exit opportunities

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this and help me.

I wondered what exit opportunities are possible regarding a career in private banking (PWM) for high net worth individuals in a low tax territory in Europe (in a top European bank). Is it relatively easy to get to AM or, although I know is highly improbable, PE, for example, or do you know anyone who has managed to achieve this? Do companies appreciate the experience and skills obtained in PWM? I am worried I could enter a dead-end career path as everything I have read here is quite discouraging, mostly regarding the fact that I don't know any very wealthy individuals.
