Candidate hired over .01 Gpa difference
Hey guys I just got word we had 2 identical candidates down to the hobbies to join our sales team and the reasoning of choosing one is very interesting.
One had a 3.59 the other had a 3.6. The one with 3.59 was offered. Why? Let’s say things are all equal…basically since they both played the same college sport same major and similar experience and schools they took 3.59 because he appears more honest. Idk if the 3.6 dude was lying but my buddy said the brass threw their hands up and said something like “well he must be an honest and confident guy if he didn’t round that up”
I thought this was funny but perhaps maybe something useful for those or you recruiting (although this isn’t entry level). At least that’s the story ive been given.
