time allocation in HFs

curious how folks spend their time day to day. my hypothesis is the following. looking for folks to correct me. I’m just getting started in the industry:

Earnings season: listening and reading calls and new research notes. correcting investment theses and updating models where appropriate.

Non earnings season: primarily focused on

a) monitoring current positions, which includes reviewing data related to industry, new filings or mgmt sale of shares, other news related to names, contacting IR or sell side analyst to bounce ideas around

b) developing new investment ideas which could include building out a model, reading up on an industry
