What is the best pathway to a career in IB?

I am a student from India and I have been accepted into the University of Exeter for BSc. Economics. However, I am currently conflicted whether to continue with this or go to Delhi University for an undergrad (B.A. Hons in Economics or Business Economics) and then do my masters abroad at, hopefully, an even better university?
I would appreciate any and all response!
