McGill / UNSW / University of Birmingham for Exchange
Hey, I'm a Malaysian student planning to go on an exchange to one of the universities mentioned above, as they are partners with my university, and tuition fees are waived. I'm currently leaning towards McGill, especially because they have the McGill Investment Club and Red Point Capital. Can anyone confirm if these clubs are open to international exchange students as well? Additionally, I'm curious if exchange students have the opportunity to pursue internships during their stay. I'm considering two semesters abroad, and if there are internship opportunities, it would greatly influence my decision. I appreciate any advice or insights you can provide.
MIC and RPC open applications for the "junior anlayst" position at the beginning of each September. Acceptance rate is usually ~5-10% and they prefer people who will stay in the club for a few years. Your chances of getting in are close to none. Hope this helps
