Networking efficiently
Hi everyone,
I am an analyst at a AM/IM shop in a Western Europe country (not in the UK).
I try to reach/stay in contact with advisors/sellers/buyers but it is quite hard when you are a junior and don't get that much exposure to deals. Linkedin/cold emailing can be seen aggressive in countries where networking is less natural, as you nearly need a reason to reach to someone.
Although I feel the earlier you start building a network the stronger it gets.
I was wondering if anybody had a few tips on networking efficiently on your first years on the job?
Sure it can help other junior monkeys in real estate.
Many thanks for this.
Hey Viciou, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your topic! Bummer...could just be unlucky but one of these topics will help shed some light:
Hope that helps.
Hi everyone,
Still curious on getting any insights on this. I feel like networking as a student can be more "natural" and Covid has made things worse with no possibility to grab a coffee or having lunch.
Thanks
