How to deal working with people that you can't stand?

I've been working with a new company for a few months now, completely remote, and I can't stand the two people I work mostly with. Emphasis on the more senior employee. I get nothing but snark, borderline aggressive remarks, and talked to like I'm a moron constantly. I have 4 years relevant experience and I had to take a more entry level role because I was laid off and this was still a decent opportunity. I'm happy with where I'm at, I like the job and company, but working with this person is just not fun whatsoever. I'm losing all interest in having any relationship with this guy or even trying to build one with him at this point. I'm tired of this dude talking to me like I'm a dumbass with no experience. He did not interview me but he knows my resume so I'm really confused why he makes the remarks that he does. Like I said - it's borderline aggressive - I will say something, literally anything, and it's like he heard something else and makes an aggressive remark about it. It's confusing honestly. I've never had this before and worked at a few companies so I really don't know how to approach this other than try my best to keep my head down and do good work. Unfortunately, this is basically who I report to.

Unfortunately, this is basically who I report to.

You're screwed and this guy will inevitably put you on a PIP to fire you. You need to transfer teams and get a new boss before it comes to that point or just get a new job. It's impossible to work with people that hate you for no reason and try to sabotage/gaslight into making you look bad rather then allowing you to succeed.

Honestly, the guy sounds like a classic insecure loser who projects it onto the triggering person. You're better off just finding a new job.

Lateral to another team?

Had a very similar issue at one of my jobs. I considered quitting but luckily my manager quit abruptly and another manager within our department took over. Was a much more pleasant experience and the new manager was the best boss I've ever had.
