Being Christian in investment banking
What is it like? Are church hours on Sunday’s or Saturday evenings respected. How about marriage life?

Career Resources
If you communicate your weekend commitments and can prioritize around them, you'll be fine. Don't know what you mean about marriage life. Will your partner be happy? Unsure, likely not if there are expectations that you'll be around all the time.
I’m a Christian albeit not in banking. The truth is investment banking is not going to be a career that will satisfy you as a Christian. You’ll likely face many attacks from the enemy during any stint in a career such as IB. Ask yourself why you want to do it and what’s most important. To lead your wife, children, and your own life to God, you know how much time, attention, focus, and pre-occupation that will and should take with being with God. An IB career will steer your focus away just by the hours. Pray on why you made this post in the first place and whether or not God is trying to convict you.
Truth! What would you reccomend then, maybe PWM?
Pray on it. If you’re a student, look at as many career paths as possible and ask God to bring you wisdom and clarity on where you should be. I know you want a direct answer/options but I just don’t know. You need to pick a career that you enjoy, but that doesn’t suck your desires away from God. In all honesty, there’s good information on this forum but it’s easy to get distracted/tempted by greed, jealousy, and shiny objects. If you seriously love high finance, talk to your network and go wide instead of narrowing down to the few careers mentioned on here. At the end of the day, as a Christian brother you know money and our own fruitless desires are nothing that will satisfy or last. I struggle with this and it’s a bondage I pray to be broken. PWM could be a good option and I know there’s many more. I’ll pray God brings you clarity!
can confirm PWM is easily navigated for anyone devout. only rare exceptions are remembering to put the holy days of obligation on your calendar so you don't get double booked, and remembering fast days (while at the same time remembering 1 Cor 10 where Paul basically not being rude when eating with others)
one thing that keeps me grounded is the fact that there's never been a world so bad you can't be a good person in it. I'd also suggest reading about morality & ethics, Aquinas is good for this but in general if you just abide by the commandments you'll be fine at work, I've never felt pressured ethically in PWM
but agree on the person who said pray on it
Can confirm. Facing many ATTACKS FROM THE ENEMY in my medical career as well. Bloody A&E docs always admitting the patient to the medical ward for a cough. I'm about to call my brothers and sisters to bear arms and wipe clean the enemy. Their sacrifice will bring peace to the medical ward.
Just go to the early service on Sundays before work starts and it’ll be fine
