Soon to be grad- what are my job prospects

I'm a senior studying Finance and Economics at a non-target school in Canada. I have an astoundingly poor undergrad GPA. I have deferred graduation by a semester. I passed CFA® L1 in December, and will write L2 next June. (I know many consider the CFA® to be completely useless, but at this point I need to add value to my profile in any way possible)

This summer I will be doing a second stint as an intern at a small hedge fund in Hong Kong (my Uncle is the director of the fund.)

Assuming I pass L2 next June, what are my prospects like for getting a job in finance? I have citizenship in Canada, Hong Kong and England. This question is not specific to one area of finance. I’m not seeking top-tier, BB opportunities.

I'm well aware that this is a pretty broad question, but considering how bleak my job outlook is, I’m open to all suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say your chances are decent. You have relevant internships and experience, very global and having the CFA level 1 down can help offset your UG GPA. Keep networking and reach out to your family connections and you should be fine. Having L2 will just help you even more.
