MSF to IB

Hi everyone,

I’m an international student, and I just got accepted into BC MSF, Notre Dame MSF, and Vanderbilt MSF.

My goal is to work in IB after graduation in NY. I currently have three 6-months internships on my cv, one as a business analyst, another one as a private equity sales intern, and the last one as a M&A analyst.

Which university would you suggest for maximizing networking opportunities and prestige, with no consideration for tuition costs, to enhance my chances of securing a full-time job offer? And why?

Thank you

Vandy is the best in your list. When discussing MSF I have never heard of BC being a top program.

Bare in mind, while all programs produce employment reports touting a high percentage of students going into IB, many of these students already had previous IB internships.

Thank you for your comment. Don’t you think that Notre Dame alumni network, would be an advantage in finding an internship/full time job? (Better connections than Vanderbilt)

Haven't researched ND so cannot comment, but have heard the program at least unlike BC.

Agree Vandy is best. But, it is actually "bear in mind." Cheers!

Bare in mind or bear in mind? (techtarget.com)
