GPA opinions needed
Which banks in the US, BB and EB, MOE, EVER, GS etc and Canada CIBC, TD, BMO, RBC look at actual transcript rather than just cumulative number? Which banks don't look too much into transcript, assuming all do but would like to know if anyone knows what actually happens when looking at GPA.
Apparently all Canadian banks do, some BBs do except for GS and JPM, and EBs do even less frequently than that.
I assume you mean during the background check for Canadian banks, yeah? There are some US banks that require the physical transcript during the application process
I interpreted the post as asking about Canadian banks in Canada and US BBs/EBs in US.
Oh I thought they were asking about Canadian banks in the US having the same processes as US EBs/BBs
No US banks are going to dig deep into your transcript during applications. If they ask for it, it is used to verify you aren't lying and that is it.
Cumulative GPA is king. If you have some upward trend, put major GPA on there too but cumulative GPA is all they care about
