Don't do tassels, far too casual.

Bits are fine, no one really cares.

What I would do, if I were you, is be conservative for the first few months so you can establish yourself. Then take some chances, just so you don't end up getting your balls busted by someone.

That's just me though, again I think you're fine with bits, most assholes wear sneakers now.

There is a stigma (unless there isn't anymore) that they're "old man shoes".

I wear mine socially, I don't wear them to the office.

It really is your choice, don't take my word as gospel.

If the group wears sneakers, you might consider wearing sneakers - it's really a "what you're comfortable with, within the group" so as to not draw negative attention to yourself.

Again, not that many people care. The only reason I hate sneakers is when I'd like to bring the junior guys out for drinks at nicer places, it doesn't bother me otherwise.

It ain’t a gospel but it’s pretty damn close. Appreciate the advice good sir

Hey man, I made another similar post called ranking from most to least acceptable shoes recently and would love to hear your opinion on the matter. tried to tag you in the post but I think your name has spaces and wasn't able to

I’m on the west coast where everyone wears Allbirds. But from the East coast so love a good loafer. I’m the only analyst who wears dress shoes at all lol.

If you don’t feel comfortable wearing them, don’t. This job is too stressful to worry about minutia like that my guy
