From M&A deals experience for public target companies what stock price for the target is usually used to benchmark a premiums paid or exchange ratio? Is it usually a spot price on a given date, the 10-day moving average, or some variation? Also do you guys know what the average bankers usually charge in terms of transaction fees for buyside and sellside advisory?
