I was wondering what is the most a first year analyst on here has made.

Career Resources
i know i won't be even close w what the Street has been paying the last two years but my first year I made:
$55k base, $28k bonus and $10k sign-on
...so a paltry $93k all in. (started in July 2002)
that was a decent bonus.
I think $70k base and 50% bonus + 10k signing is the norm in my school.
Last year was 60k ish base and 60-80k bonus at most places give or take a few k.
I plan on making ~200k. I chose to take an offer close to where I live. About 100-120k will be due to my job. The rest I plan on making with my private real estate investing business that I have with a partner. :) I chose this over NY because I knew that I couldn't do with the combination of the hours and the NY location.
What city are you working in? Are you working for a bulge bracket firm? I thought most firms only hired analysts into their NYC and LA/SF offices, and rent in LA/SF is still sky-high and from what I hear the hours are terrible as well.
Last year was was $175k all in for me as a 2nd yr.

First year at bulge on the street last year was $55 base + 80 top bonus + 10 sign. All in $145. 2nd year was $65 + 100 bonus. All in $165.
