MD shoved food down my throat. Is this normal?

Recently worked on a sell-side mandate for a restaurant franchisee at a top EB (think CVP). Absolutely grinded out the entire model because that's the type of analyst I am (think top bucket). Apparently, my organic growth assumptions weren't high enough so my MD forced this restaurant's key menu item (think meatball subs) down my throat until I made some changes. "Taste those fucking meatballs" and "lick those fucking lips" he exclaimed. "Tastes like another 100 bps of organic growth doesn't it?" he questioned rhetorically until my model aligned with his overly optimistic view of the business (think HSD organic growth). Is it normal for an MD (at a top EB) to shove food down an analyst's throat? Felt slightly uncomfortable at the moment but don't want to bring it up to HR because I otherwise have enjoyed my first year in the bullpen (I took home $220k+ in total comp). Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Definitely normal. Back in my days on the sell side, my MD used to make me lay on the floor while he dropped pieces of calamari into my mouth one by one. He would then finish it off by making me drink tartar sauce. At least you got a better understanding of the business.

Same happened during my internship, only with a large purple eggplant inserted into my rear, stem still attached.

They are borderline fantasies…

You think any of the stuff on these posts actually happened??
