Best Prep for S&T During Bschool?

I'm starting at Kellogg in August with the goal of an S&T position after I graduate. I don't have any finance background, but I'm coming from a very quantitatively-oriented software engineering position. Other than the basics of doing well in my classes and networking, what can I do to increase my chances of landing an S&T position at a BB? Any extracurriculars that would be particularly impressive? Trading results on my own accounts? Overall personal qualities?

Thanks
