The person you're talking about out of Stanford is an investment genius. He ran Kudla Fund, one of the top student hedge funds, who's members all go to MF or top HF's like Maverick out of undergrad

 

Maverick doesn't hire out of undergrad, and no Stanford undergrad is an "investment genius". Spoken like a true Stanford finance bro who knows nothing abt finance. Makes sense cause all the smart kids there do CS or entrepreneurship 

 

The word 'genius' can't be assigned to someone who invests fundamentally.
