Diameter Capital and Taconic Advisors

Hi all,

I want to know whether or not Diameter Capital and/or Taconic Advisors are recognizable names in the investment industry. They are ran by people from very impressive backgrounds, but they are both very small firms by employee counts. Thank you for any insights!

edit: Removing the “how it looks on resume part” because people are assuming GWI affiliations (which I wish I was a part of, but unfortunately not). Secondly, I did do my own Google searches, but still thought it would be more insightful to hear from people directly in the industry.

Literally don’t understand why u are assuming this, but if u think I must be trolling then I guess that gives the answer to my post.

Ok, this is becoming a bit out of hand. I don’t have internship opportunities with these two places and not affiliated with GWI (I wish I was though), so maybe don’t target specific groups because you don’t like my post. I heard of the two firms from peers in my school club. Secondly, please don’t assume that any question on here that might seem “brain dead” to you is supposed to be common knowledge for everyone else. I didn’t know and wanted to seek out information, so I put a forum like this into use. I did the Google searches and found a bit of info, but I thought it would be more insightful to ask people directly in the industry (which was what I hoped in this post). These two firms are private and obviously don’t do on campus recruiting, so there is truly not a lot of information on them beyond a few numbers.

you need to be in GWI to intern at these places, thus my comment. Never did I make comments about girls lil bro
