Buy side associate vs sell side analyst?

Hi all, MO worker here. I'm currently a Trade Support associate at a large buy side firm making decent money. I have the opportunity to join a large sell side hedge fund, but as a trade support analyst. Would it be worth it to take the title downgrade and slightly higher pay? I'm not familiar with how much the work responsibility would be different in each side.

I don't think you know what the term sellside means lol

A hedge fund is by definition, a buyside firm. Sellside is usually investment banks and other broker/dealers/research houses
