So if you are hypothetically a high potential individual, does it make sense to start there?

 

Arena can be a step stone to a better place for sure, but it'll take work on your part. I don't think top HF is a realistic base case exit but the world is your oyster. The culture is such that you can take more responsibility / position yourself better within the firm if you are comfortable having sharp elbows and advocating for yourself. It is extremely entrepreneurial. If you go to Dan with a well thought out business plan for a new vertical or product he'll let you own it. 

 

Compensation appears below market (base + bonus). Team is very lean and not by design as I seen a flood of applicants attempting to exit.
