Boutique consulting firm

  • Nyc
  • Sign on bonus 1000
  • Boutique firms smaller teams,  learn more

Cons:

  • Less hourly pay of 33/hr
  • no one knows the name
  • Would have to pay for rent in nyc
  • Harder to get exit opps or move to bigger firm
  • Probably more management/written/powerpoint work and less analytical numbers

FTI

Pros

Cons

  • No sign on bonus
  • In Mclean office so not a main office in a main city
  • Thought it wasnt common to get return offer but recruiter said most interns get return
  • More specialized title in Corporate Finance TMT dispute advsisory sector: I dont really know specifically what id be doing and id have to prepare for the internship

I haven't come across anyone who has heard of it before. So I assume people will think its less prestigious than FTI
