Berenberg hiring spree?
Berenberg just uploaded a ton of postings for their research division in New York for associate and analyst-level positions. Didn't they just purge that whole division a few months ago? Whats going on there

They realized they cut too many people and now have to rehire. Heard research only has 5-10 people left with no DOR in charge. Won’t be surprised if they close shop soon even with these new job postings
Just got this email from them
They over hired (probably had to take low quality talent) and then ECM dried up last year and they made significant cuts. Strategy seems to be lower quantity but pay more for higher quality. We’ll see if it works out. It’s a quality shop in UK/EU.
Makes sense. Berenberg is like 400+ years old I feel like they should draw on that more for marketing purposes lol
I applied and someone for HR reached out to set up interviews. I sent her my schedule to see what time worked and followed up twice but no response if that tells you anything…
