What are some names of the biggest Canadian Commercial Real Estate lenders? Trying to network for an internship

So I'm currently studying at University of Alberta, and I'm interested in Commercial Real Estate lending mainly due to the the exposure to the high deal flow and the good exit opportunities. I'm having a hard time finding out some of the big players in Canada. Can anyone help?

CMLS Financial, MCAP, First National, Canada ICI, Trez Capital, Firm Capital, Timbercreek Financial, the big 5 banks...

Canada ICI is a big player in Edmonton. I know CMLS hires a bunch of summer interns, but they're mostly in vancouver, so if ur willing to move that'd be a good way to break in.

Adding on to creditninja's post; National Bank and Desjardins, both focused in Quebec/Eastern Canada, have become more active in Ontario. Out in the Prairies, CWB and ATB remained active throughout the oil crunch even as the Big 5 slimmed down. HSBC is active in both the GTA and GVA.

What do you know about the exit ops for this profession? I have a good connection with someone from Deutsche Bank who does multi and commercial lending.
