LBS MFA(Masters in financial analysis) or LSE Msc Finance

Hi all, i have applied for both the LBS and LSE courses and would appreciate any feedback or advice on which course would be better. I have recently graduated from university majoring in Finance and Economics and am looking to work in the asset or portfolio management industry in the future. Many thanks to everyone.

cong!! both are my dream schools :) Personally, I will vote for LBS because it has advantages in networking, alumni, programme structure...

The LBS program is relatively new and doesn't have the track record that LSE has. IMO, the LSE MSc program would be the safer bet. Both have a great brand and reputation in London. I'd make the decision based on cost and alumni base in your desired field.

I would go for LSE if you get into their master of finance. I would take the MFA over anything else at LSE though. The first class of the MFA looks amazing and the MiM has done great with Banks in London in the last couple of years.

Cant go wrong with either.

IF that matters, your year at LBS will be a lot better. Less hours spend studying and more hours spent travelling and partying. (Goes the other way around for educational advancement I guess)
