London sales & trading Associate comps

Hi guys,

Hope everyone is keeping well. It’s easy to get info on IBD comps but less so in S&T specifically for London post Analyst level. For my particular case, I work as a Desk Analyst on a credit trading desk (won’t specify if HY corps/IG corps/Fins to avoid giving myself away) at a major bank in London. Started as a grad summer 2019, promoted associate Jan 2022.

Total comp last year was £140k, £60k base + £80k bonus (base was super low pre bumps). Given the recent bumps, what are first year associates being paid across the street now in terms of base + total comp for different roles? My base is still sub £100k which i think is very low so I would expect a generous bonus this year to compensate for that as well as a decent salary bump for next year but I am still trying to get some comps and put this into numbers that make sense (obviously all individual/desk performance related but a couple of data points would help)

Many thanks for your help !

Hey Associate 1 in S&T - FI, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I'm here since nobody responded to your thread! Bummer...could just be time of day or unlucky (or the question/topci is too vague or too specific). Maybe one of these topics will help:

More suggestions...

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.

Interested as well.

Now an associate in prime brokerage/delta one and base is ard £70-80k. Not sure about bonus until next year but I’ve been thinking that I’m below average as well ( compared to those numbers on efinancialcareer articles)
