Is BofA offering a bad salary? or is this a mistake?

I received my BofA sales & trading summer analyst contract and was shocked at how low the hourly rate is (~$30/hour). Compared with my UBS offer for the same role (~$53/hour), it is a no brainer for me to choose UBS. Does anyone else have experience with BofA s&t salaries? Is this a normal salary? Should i negotiate for a better one?

unless money atm is a real concern, base your decision off of long-term vision wrt desks and ppl.

I think you have it all wrong. The VP that called to inform me of my offer said it was 110k prorated over the summer plus a 2k housing stipend. Though on the offer letter it is as you have stated, but I feel like their letter was probably not updated from few years ago.

So ideally it is $52.88/hour on a 110k prorated basis

Not sure how you derived the hourly rate. What I understand is that the SA salary is consistent globally. I was an SA in APAC and received ~110k USD annual salary on a prorated basis.
