Would you do an MBA if you were in my shoes?

Would you do an MBA if you were in my shoes? If so, what schools would you be looking at? Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. My long term goal is to transition into investment management.

A bit about my background ---
6 years in the military, rapid promotions and leadership role in combat environment.
Got out, finished undergrad (BBA - Finance) at non-target state university in the south in three years with lots of EC (VP rugby club, Business plan competition winner). Post grad went straight to MS-Global entrepreneurship program at Babson College, finished with 3.8GPA, loved start-up environment but obsessed with finance. Currently in MS Finance (U of R part time) program in NYC working in financial services (this MS is company sponsored so I figured, why not get a free masters??)

In the next year I will finish my MS Finance so I will have two masters already (but only 2 years post grad experience) and I feel like the MBA card needs to be punched to fulfill my long term goals. Am I delusional?

I think you are spending way too much time collecting master's degrees that are ultimately of limited help in getting a job (just being brutally honest here). Go into the real world, get a job - see what you can get, see how it goes in the real world for two three years and then think about an MBA. Given your drive and personality (seems like you work hard and have your shit together) you should be quite successful even without an MBA

MBA is worthless for your experience. Sounds you are trying to compensate for something by collecting all these degrees.

Thanks for the input! The reasons I am curious about this is as I surf job websites to see what sort of credentials are needed for positions I will be interested in a few years down the line, they all say MBA preferred or MBA required. I just wasn't sure if MSF/MSM =/> MBA . I def have no urge to get off my career path now that I am on it, I just dont want to find out 5-6 years down the road that the lack of those three letters would possibly hold me back as once I am done with school.. I am done.

I am def interested in staying with my current employeer for a few more years but ultimately, I want to get into a smaller investment management firm (ideally fund of funds or multi-strat. hedge fund)

@Karypto - I am trying to compensate for something ~ A thirst for knowledge ;)
