What is the value of getting an MBA outside the U.S./Europe?

From an American perspective, is there any value in getting an MBA outside prestigious programs in the States/Europe? Let's say for example at a program along the lines of University of Cape Town, University of São Paulo, or IPADE (Mexico City)? Still relatively known internationally but not along the lines of LES, HEC, INSEAD.

They are relatively inexpensive and my guess it is what you make of it. Maybe it could be a good way to get a foothold/job in a developing market your interested in? Obviously these programs rank nowhere close to the clout major American MBA programs carry and are certainly riskier but I was interested in other's opinions.
