What are YOU planning to do this summer before school/work starts?

Since this started to pop out of the other thread, I figured I'd make a seperate thread to see what everyones pre-MBA or post-school type events (or if you just want to chime in, whatever) are going to be this summer.

Personally for me, Diablo 3 comes out on May 15th... Fuqua also hosts a summer LEAD program for high schoolers interested in business that I may try to participate in and I will also aim for Deloitte's Consulting Pre-MBA Internship

Unfortunately I'm not going to get a break. I'm signed up for the max credit hours for Spring semester (been in school way too long, need to graduate ASAP).

Right after Spring semester ends I'll be off to San Francisco for an ITRA internship with Ernst & Young.

Nothing really planned (except a family vacation) before training. I think I'm just going to take it really easy before work starts and try and get some readings done.

I'm trying to get a summer internship at a Boutique bank. Many have stopped hiring, but many are just getting started too. If not I can always fall back and intern at my dad's job, it's mad easy and I get paid like 20 an hour.

Sounds nerdy I guess, but i would recommend finding a new kind of work before you matriculate--quitting your job and doing something unrelated but interesting to you. I did this before I went back for my MBA and it was very valuable, especially for a career switcher, since I knew I would only have one internship and I had more interests than that!

Have a decently long garden leave that will give me over a month to chill. Probably going to spend some time at home and then maybe a week or two down in Brazil with some guys from our local gym training Jiu Jitsu. Hopefully find me a Brazilian chick who's willing to follow me back to the States, marry and divorce me, and net a healthy return before heading back down for the World Cup in 2014.

I'm not upset with the pictures, they just make me rue going into the office instead of going outside...

I think I'm taking the summer off from school. Haven't had any time off in about 4 years, so it's about that time. I really want to get a hella lot of work done a few different projects I'm looking into. I also want to get my tan on (already started, I love vitamin D).

God I love that movie.

Find an apartment in NYC on UWS (let me know if you know someone moving out :P). Take a month or two off to just catch breath and get back in academia mode. Try not to catch anything I can't get rid of.

ill be moving out of my west village cardboard box studio with a tiny terrace. apart from a dishwasher and laundry in the building, its equipped with absolutely nothing. no tv/cable but 3 monitors :)

rent is 2.4k./month. its on grove street so 10 sec from path train/red line and 2 min walk to orange line.

come and get it from july until august and enjoy the company of models as you browse hip restaurants, chill by the hudson and never worry about taking a cab when you go out.

Yeah man, I love chilling by the Hudson whenever I'm in Boston.
