Wharton vs. Princeton Econ.
Hi, I’m a rising college freshman admitted into both wharton and princeton. I know that wharton is the best when it comes to finance and placement into IB, but i’m worried about their current president, leadership, and culture, while Princeton seems to have their act together. Princeton’s alumni network also seems to be a little better, but I’m wondering if anyone can provide advice from their perspective on choosing between the two for undergraduate. Thanks so much!
I personally would pick Princeton
Come to Princeton habibi
Princeton
Princeton hands down. The alumni are phenomenal (yes I am an alum so I'm biased). It's unlikely that the recruiting outcomes will really be better coming from Wharton and you'll be a more interesting person by getting a Princeton liberal arts education and having to take distribution requirements, which will benefit you in ways you can't possibly know now down the road. If you really want to go to Wharton at some point, you can go there for business school.
Thanks, do you have any advice looking back on classes/clubs you'd have joined at Princeton to set up for IB? Also do you think majoring in econ or ORFE would be better for placement?
