Wash u Olin vs UVA McIntyre vs UMich Ross undergrad

UVA instate, Umich out of state and for Wash U received full scholarship

Umich Ross becomes too expensive option. Visited Wash U and liked it.

UVA McIntyre doesn’t start until third year so prefer go to full undergrad business school.

Concerned about OCR at Wash U for Investment Banking as it is not target/semi-target school for wall street.

Could any Wash u alumni respond from BBs to make my decision easier?
Appreciate any insight from anyone though

I’d go WashU given you got a full ride. It is definitely not a non-target. Now it is more of a (strong) semi-target, on a per-capita basis. Obviously, you won’t see as many people on Wall Street as other much larger targets, given each Olin class is relatively small (only 200-250 people), and probably >25% are gunning for IB/PE (more gun for MBB and other consulting roles). You will not have a problem getting a good seat, as everyone here is extremely smart and places where they want to if they work hard, for the most part. I’d also add that the Career Center has really ramped up their IB efforts over the past 2 years, so placement has seen some strong improvements.
