taking GMAT more than once
It was recommended to take the SAT more than once in high school, but i've heard with the LSAT's that it can be negative to take it more than once. Whats the attitude towards GMAT's?

ok if you take it twice...i didn't get the score i wanted first time around but am planning on taking it again in a few months.
I think it is obviously better if you can just get a high score on the 1st try, but b schools will typically take your highest score because they can use that in thier stats for "avg gmat score"....at least that's what i've heard.
thanks bump
why did you move my forum post? no one goes on "business school barrage". this sucks
They take your highest GMAT. With the LSAT, they usually average the two, so its not as good to take it again because even if you improve 10 points, what the schools will see is that you improved 5 points. I dont know any bschool that takes an average gmat.
