Normally, I would recommend Rutgers over Poly. But, Poly gives you the opportunity to get the degree from NYU. It may take a few years for the employers to realize that there is a difference between NYU-Courant and NYU-Poly. Until that time, you can leverage the NYU brand name like crazy and get good interviews and jobs which your resume may have gone straight into the dustbin without the NYU brand name on your resume. You should check whether they will allow you to use the NYU brand name on your resume. This is absolutely critical in your job search.

no, they won't let u write just nyu on the resume. i will have to write poly as well. and recruiters are well aware that courant is different and better than poly. i'm inclined towards poly simply because of its location, i.e manhattan. its the financial hub and will give me more opportunities. but i cant compare it to rutgers because rutgers has the better rank and poly has the better opportunities. which one has better placement? any idea?
