Retake 770 GMAT with 4 in AWA?
Recently took my GMAT to apply for finance masters programmes at Oxford, LBS, LSE and HEC. When I got the 770 (Q 49 V 49) I was quite happy, but felt bad seeing that I only got a 4.0 in the AWA.
My question is: would any of these programmes care about my AWA score?
Only Oxford mentions that applicants should aim for a 5 in AWA, but also that it is not a strict limit. If this would kill my application than maybe I would consider retaking the test, but you can see why I am hesitant to do this. Anybody with some insights? Thanks!
Hey man! Your score is amazing! this wont make or break you. Work on the apps instead
Honest question, how long did it take you to study? I’m at month 4 right now and I have more to come.
For 4 months low key, then 2 months bit more intensive. If you studied for 4 months then should be enough imo, but depends on your target as well.
4 is oddly low (approx 17th percentile) - what happened
Not sure, I was also surprised cause felt it was decent. Do you think I should ask for a rescoring maybe or I should rather focus on acing the essays and TOEFL (especially the writing).
