Profile Evaluation LBS, HEC, LSE, Bocconi, ESADE?

Hi everyone I am currently studying in Germany and currently thinking about where to do my Master's.

My GPA is 2.0x-2.1x and when I graduate it will be around 1.8x-1.9x (1.0 best / 5.0 worst). According to LBS, a 1.0-1.49 is equivalent to a first-class honours degree, whereas 1.50-2.49 is equivalent to a second-class honours degree. (LBS minimum requirement is 2.49 whereas HEC and LSE require a 2.0).

My GMAT is quite good 720-730

Leadership Experience: Student Body President (High School), Leadership Position in Student Finance Club, Head of highschool project (~revenue 100,000 EUR)

Work Experience: IB (Elite Boutiques), PE (2 internships at funds +15bn AUM), 4 other internships (PE and M&A) -> all in DACH Region

As mentioned my target schools are

1) HEC, LBS, LSE

2) ESADE, Bocconi

3) Rotterdam, Nova, WU Wien

Could you please give me any feedback or any other advice?
My long-term goal is IB in London

Honestly I feel like you have an extremely good shot at all the unis.

Even though you have a sub-par GPA given what is to be expected, you have extremely good professional experience and have a solid GMAT score. You will certainly be accepted to ESADE so that would be your “safe net”.

Personally I wouldn’t consider neither WU nor Rotterdam as I am 99% sure you will be accepted to both ESADE and Nova.

I would say send your CV in and nudge them a little when they reply. You never know if they would drop some hints or not!

Edit: Anyway, i feel like you stand a good chance regardless. When writing your apps, focus on your strengths and try not to draw so much attention to your GPA

I mean, at this point it is pretty obvious, no?

It was not the case say 10 years ago, that’s for sure, but especially Nova has been on the rise lately.

I think with your profile you don't have much to worry about for the top tier. Don't think there is much difference in terms of placement between the top programmes so just nail your essays and understand what the schools are looking for in their candidates for interview prep (HEC and LBS). I personally feel HEC's MSc programmes have the edge over the rest but the final choice is influenced by various factors.
