Msc in finance at ESCP
Hi everyone, I was thinking about getting a master in finance and I was wondering about ESCP business school. I'm talking about the 15 months MSc not the MiM which I know it is in general more well regarded.
My goal would be to get into IB in general and more specifically S&T but obviously I would not dislike an opportunity in m&a since I would like to understand what I really like. Do you know about how it places in London and Paris (assuming I'm fluent in both English and French)?
My background is an applied math degree at engineering school and an internship in a fintech company related to trading and financial engineering
MSc are not really well seen. Better opt for the MiM.
Yes I heard in french it works this way, is it the same also for London (an for other french business schools)? My problem is that I'm already 24 and I would apply in 2024 because now it's too late and a 1 year master would be better for getting in the job market the earliest possible (I know a MiM is at least 2 year). In the meanwhile I'd get other internship experience.
I asked specifically for ESCP because the last round is still open and they don't require a GMAT and so I could directly start (if admitted) in 2023.
Should directly wait for 2024, prepare a good GMAT and apply for better Msc program (even in London)?
