I need transfer advice - From Community College to IB
Hey everybody, I need some advice on what to do. I am a first year-student currently about to finish my spring semester at community college. I applied to transfer to USC but their decisions do not come out until after the semester is done. If I do not get into USC this year I am thinking about just applying to USC, UC Berkeley, NYU, and my local state school next year.
My thinking is that if I do not get into those top target schools(and semi-target) I might as well just go to my local state school even though I really want to get out of my parents' house and have a regular college experience. I will say that I do live in a popular city for finance (think NYC, SF, Chicago) so that is also something to think about.
Any advice?
(Also wanted to sneak this question in as well, should I heavily focus on networking this summer or should I still try to get a last-minute summer internship(I have some local search funds I can reach out to, but nothing secure)?)
