I went to one of those schools and it is quite simple to land BB/EB offers provided that you have the right profile. Lots of alumni to network with and even have designated on-campus recruiting events from some of the firms.
Thanks for the response! When you say right profile, is that 3.7+, boutique, clubs and networking? I’ve heard a lot about the competitiveness of the business clubs so I’m a little worried I just strike out.
Most of the finance clubs at these schools are not all that competitive to get into compared to say Northwestern’s IB club. Lots of people not part of the most exclusive finance club still break into BB/EB with the right GPA (3.6+), networking, mastery of techncials, other ECs and internships.
