Exeter vs Leeds for Undergraduate

Hey guys, so due to personal issues I have to re-do my university undergraduates in the UK. I only know about this few days ago and I realized most competitive universities have closed their doors. My only options are International Year One for Exeter and Leeds. I know both are non-targets but may I ask which one of the two could help me stand a slightly better chance at IB recruiting?

Some background info: Was at a target uni in HK doing a STEM major, but grades aren't all that glorious. Has previous experience in a boutique, a big 4 and a bulge bracket in relevant sectors. Don't know if these could help in UK recruitment though.

I graduated ages ago from a target but don't recall Exeter being that much better than Leeds. Both would have a fair amount of middle class / private school people going as back ups or because it's posh or in party city (Leeds)

With Leeds I'd have imagined would be easier to have access to more Big 4 / boutique oops during the year
