Calling anyone familiar with Ross School of Business

Any alumni, current students or recruiters that look over resumes of applicants from Ross, I have a question for you.

Which clubs are the most reputed at the business school and the most successful in sending students to top consulting firms/BBs?

I'm talking specifically about clubs that specialize in investment banking, sales and trading and consulting.

Thanks a lot!

Lol. Finance and Consulting club at the BBA level are a joke. They are pretty much an email list. They only do things at the MBA level.

MIBC is another club that is decent.

I believe GIC discusses the markets but doesn't do any actual trading or investing. I agree with the above, MII and MIBC for banking, Nexecon and Bond for consulting.

Thanks. I'm actually in GIC and MCG (as of today). GIC actually does trading and stock pitches every meeting now, and they have begun to teach valuation. Huge changes.

Well, I was just asking to gage how much reputation GIC has within Ross and with recruiters if anyone knows?

Which would look better?

  1. BBA + Financial Math Minor; GPA around 4.0 (it is out of 4.4 since that is what you are awarded for A+)

  2. BBA + Financial Math Major; GPA around 3.8 for BBA and around 3.6-3.7 in Financial Math
