Brown vs Northwestern vs Stern vs Vanderbilt

Between Brown, Northwestern, Stern, and Vanderbilt, which would be the biggest target/best for investment banking/private equity? Especially around New York

I know Stern places extremely well, but there’s also a ton of kids gunning for IB. Also wouldn’t mind a good college experience too, but I’m curious which out of these you would pick?

Thanks!

All your options are great, but I would personally definitely go to Brown. Open-curriculum, A/B/C GPA with heavy grade inflation. Ivy brand with minimal Ivy hardos.

But of course it depends what kind of person you are. If you’re Southern through and through, then Vanderbilt makes sense. Northwestern if you want to stay in Chicago long-term. Stern if you want all your classes to be finance and maybe intern in the city during the school year.

You’re right. Fortunately, I was admitted to Northwestern and Vanderbilt since then, which obviously has an impact on my decision. I wanted to see how they play into everything. That’s all 👍

You added in 2 schools that both place worse then the original 2. Answers will be the same. Pick the Ivy League school bud.
