Amsterdam University College insights?
I wanted to get some insights into the IB placements for graduates from Amsterdam University College (AUC). For those who are not familiar, AUC is a public liberal arts college located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and it's a joint institute by the University of Amsterdam and VU University Amsterdam.
Given that AUC isn't a traditional target school for Investment Banking, especially in the London scene, what are my chances of breaking into a BB, MMs, or even MBB? Alternatively, do I have a shot at any of the offices in Amsterdam perhaps?
Also,
How are liberal arts colleges, like AUC, generally viewed in the Investment Banking industry?
Are they at a significant disadvantage compared to traditional finance or business programmes?

Relatively well seen :)
Thanks for the reply. Did you go to AUC yourself? or do you perhaps know anyone who went there and is in IB right now? Im afraid it's not as recognised internationally as UvA or Utrecht/Erasmus. Given that, what are my chances to land a FO job in Amsterdam?
I know a friend that did Erasmus and went to LSE afterwards for master. But just with that degree you should be ok :) For me, it is the future of education like in the US. We should be able to pick our topics and not be so rigid :)
Barely seen people of the Amsterdam universities in London IB. It’s very much little compared to Rotterdam.
