I don't think so. I think that marginal 1 point should be spent on something else. I think you have an equal chance of getting into banking and private equity.

I received a 4 on my advanced placement Spanish language exam back in 2002. Is it worth retaking?

Also considering redoing my driver's license and eye exams for bragging rights.

i'm stupid and fat and ugly and no body likes me, but I got an 800 on the GMAT... i that good enough to get a job in banking? i can't think for myself and read the boards to find out on my own so i need to ask someone.

wait, i mean, its my friend, its not me, i'm just trying to see what he should do......

I've never seen a gmat score that didn't end in a multiple of 10....

You're also probably never going to see a score that starts with a 7, or even a 6.

LOL

How stupid are you? Couldn't do an 800...you should be frikkin' embarrassed! An affront to your undergrad college. Take it over and over again till your shame and embarrassment die.

accidental reply. can't delete?

"... then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it."

dude even if you get an 800 adcoms may still wanna have a look on your previous score which is just a decent 799, consider retaking and try to have a stellar resume as well, your chances of getting admitted is 50/50. never give up. GMAT is the way, its not the destiny...

=)) god i loved that joke
