Ok do it if you can find an internship within this field you’d like to work in, I’m just spitballing ideas. If you hate the CoS job that much then I don’t doubt leaving, but if there’s no alternative, why not stick it out a year?

 

I think the biggest question here is how much do you care about the relationship with your MM PE fund? I think if you express now the interest to finish up and try to do a pre-MBA internship in late-stage VC / growth, then you can probably compromise to wrap up the CoS role by March without burning bridges (unless there is something important you're working on that would go past that point). That will also give you some time to try to network and find a pre-MBA internship to begin with, which I'm not sure will be that easy in the late-stage VC / growth space right now unless you're willing to do it unpaid
