I am currently negotiating what kind of equity I am going to get in the deals that I see through acquisition, value-add, and disposition. What is typical? I am negotiating for what percentage of the money coming to our firm that I would get. Do people usually get a % of the cash flow and the promote or just a piece of the promote? Any insight would help, thanks.
