Tips on sorting rent rolls?

This is a reason for 1) shops needing fewer analysts than they used to and 2) compression in pay. Because software can do this easily, a google search will reveal plethora of of options available. But shops also have analysts (a real person) overseas doing work like these and so much more- load rent rolls and financials into the models, etc.

If there is only one unit number in the far left column, but like 4-5 rows for each unit (various charges), you can select the entire range of units in the far left column. Then press f5, go to special, select only blanks, click = and then press the up arrow and then ctrl+enter. That will make sure that every row has a unit number assigned to it. Now you can use it to make a pivot table, or manipulate how you see fit.
How would you easily sort rent rolls before loading into your model in this scenario. In the unit number row, instead of actual rents for some units, you have random charges like pet rent, concessions, etc. In this scenario, if you filter by just charge code- actual rent- you will not see the unit number for some units. And evening having vacant units makes it harder and messes it up. Please see below example.

unit #4, actual rent $1,300
