Real estate industry in Asia/ APAC/ China
Hi all. I am interested to know about the RE industry in Asia. I have landed a REPE role in London from doing a masters in Real estate in London. At some point, I would want to relocate back closer to home in Asia (HK).
Interested to hear anyone with insight in the RE industry in Asia? Any substantial difference in deal types/ financing/ cycles/ working culture? I am aware that Real estate IBD in Asia is more re-financing for companies since they are heavily leveraged, instead of doing acquisitions advisory. Much appreciated.
You do know that Asia is huge right? And real estate is, essentially, variable depending on location?
My point is you'd get a better understanding and better replies to your question if you specify which part of Asia you're referring to. Korea? Japan? China? India? Singapore?
